There's a beauty to four seasons that those without might not understand. There's an appreciation when the warmer months come 'round, the growing glee of spring and fall and the hibernation of winter.
There's also something about how the mating rituals revolve around these seasons. In the fall, people look for a partner to snuggle up with for the winter; in the spring, singles look for another to make a double for fun in the sun.
And in the summer? Coupling.
Jennifer Schuetz took these photos during the summer of 2002 to capture the love that's in the (summer) air.
