Chicago Restaurant Week 2013; or, A Reason to Leave the House This February
Delivery food never tastes as good as when temperatures outside drop to surreal-sounding levels (0 degrees? What does it even mean?), but this upcoming February, get ready to dust off your long underwear--Restaurant Week 2013 will give you a reason to venture beyond the warm confines of your living room.
Over 250 restaurants across Chicago participate in the event, a 10-day-long celebration of food and Chicago's dining-out scene. Special tasting menus, priced at $22 for lunch and $33/$44 for dinner, are on offer for anyone prepared to brave the cold in the name of great food.
The event kicks off on February 1 and participating restaurants include big, trendy names such as NellcĂ´te, Trenchermen, Carriage House and Red Door alongside Chicago staples such as Morton's Steakhouse and The Signature Room.
