Feud With Jenks Makes Ozzie Look Like a Child
As a general principle, I'm all for Ozzie Guillen saying whatever he wants. Most of the so-called controversies that surround the outspoken White Sox manager are the product of our oversensitivity and a media culture that rewards every non-politic utterance with disproportionate attention.
On the other hand, this public feud Ozzie has been having with Bobby Jenks since the big man left for Boston is simply ridiculous.
I don't care who started it. (Hint: It was Ozzie's son again.) I don't care what Jenks has said. Professional athletes are allowed to act like idiots and say stupid things. Their bosses are supposed to act like adults -- and thank heaven Jenks' new boss, Red Sox manager Terry Francona, tried to broker a peace agreement this week.
Jenks has a hallowed place in White Sox history, and this is no way for him to go out. More important, would you want to play for a manager who (or whose family) publicly trashes a player after he's gone and spills his personal problems to the media?
Please, Ozzie, just shut up about this one. I don't want to live in a world where Hawk Harrelson is the voice of reason.

Hey Jim,
STFU. Bobby Jenks is a drunk wife-beating moron. BOBBY JENKS alone started this and then brought it up again so get your facts straight. Terry Francona tried to broker piece by telling Jenks to shut the hell up, so once again, get your facts straight or at least get a clue on what the hell is going on. If I had a dollar for every piece of shit sports blog in this city I would be a millionaire but this article takes the cake as of one the most idiotic things I have seen.
