CHIRP Record Fair Returns This April
There's nothing quite like the fresh scent of vinyl in the morning. Or the adrenaline rush of finding that missing piece from the puzzle that is your record collection. Is your mouth frothing at the thought of that type of sensory overload? It's people like you that keep the annual CHIRP Record Fair coming back year after year.

This year the fair can be found at The Chicago Journeymen Plumbers Union (1340 West Washington Boulevard) on April 14 and 15. The fair runs each day from 10am-5pm.
Now in its tenth year, the only record fair in Chicago proper will boast more than 80 sellers tables. While the record selection is the real highlight of this two-day collector's paradise, expect to find CDs, posters, 'zines and whatever else gets the music lover in you going.
So if you've got some extra cash burning in your pocket (Tax refunds? What?), spend your weekend at the West Loop site of this year's CHIRP Record Fair.
The fair charges a $7 admission, but if you feel the need to get a jump on the collector competition is worth it, register for the pre-admission session from 8-10am on Saturday for $25. Visit the Record Fair's website for a full list of vendors.
