Amidst all the Borders bankruptcy hubbub, Unabridged Bookstore in Lakeview takes a moment to thank their loyal customers:
While the loss of jobs to Chicago, and to the United States, is saddening, we feel this is a direct result of a book-retailer business model that just does not work.We want to thank you, our loyal customers, patrons, and conversationalists for realizing there is an immense value in supporting a local independent bookstore.
