Fill Your Shelves With Chicago History For A Song
Chicago-centric publisher Lake Claremont Press is having a sale on returned books. All Lake Claremont titles "foster and reveal Chicago's special identity by sharing what's distinctive about our city's history, culture, geography, built environment, spirit, people, and lore." Their titles include Chicago Haunts: Ghostlore of the Windy City, Hollywood on Lake Michigan: 100 Years of Chicago and the Movies, and Rule 53: Capturing Hippies, Spies, Politicians, and Murderers in an American Courtroom. As for which titles are on sale, you'll have to roll up your sleeves and dig through the (virtual) bins.
