Windy City Queer @ Gerber/Hart Library
Also tomorrow night, Gerber/Hart Library in Edgewater presents readings from the anthology Windy City Queer: LGBTQ Dispatches From the Third Coast. Editor Kathie Bergquist will be joined by contributors Karen Lee Osborne, Aldo Alvarez, Gerard Wozek, Deb Lewis and Emma Vosikey. Author Michelle Tea says "I'm so into so many of the writers in this smart collection, and at the end of it have a whole new gang of funny-deep-weird-brainy authors to get obsessed with. So many ways to be queer plus so many ways to be a writer - all are indulged and investigated against the constant hum of Chicago and its singular Midwestern urbanism." Gerber/Hart Library, 1127 W.
