The Food Chain tracked down Mark "the Oyster Whisperer" Mavrantonis at the new Ditka's outpost in Oakbrook Terrace.

Jerry's Sandwiches has gotten a good amount of press recently thanks to its new Wicker Park location, including at Hungry Mag and Time Out's sandwich feature (see the sidebar here).

Schwa is closed for the month, to reopen August 3 with a new menu. Let the reservation race begin.
