Support for Concealed Carry

Gimbu Kali in this video discusses the possibility of concealed carry in Illinois. It's a good discussion even with the typical cliche in support of concealed carry. That is gun control makes it easier for the criminal element to have guns and victimized those who aren't armed.

What do you think? Should citizens of Illinois be allowed to carry a gun for their own self-defense?

An officer responding to a car break-in in the parking lot next to the Lane Bryant murder scene was within 200 yards when the killings took place. A lone gunman grabbed women one-by-one as they arrived at the store, tied them up in a room at the rear. Rhoda McFarland was shot in the front of the head when she dialed 911. Sarah Szafranski, Carrie Hudek Chiuso, Jennifer Bishop and Connie Woolfolk all were shot at close range in the back of their heads moments later. IL citizens are told to just call police when becoming victims of murderous crime. Police mere yards away, and 911 on the phone can not protect unarmed citizens. Concealed carry can.

You people need to vote out Daley. He's against your constitutional rights. With a little luck maybe the feds will get him like Blago. Any politician that's against concealed carry is a hipocrit. Didn't they all swear to uphold and defend the constitution. Get out and vote them out. A down state Illinois citizen said this.

While officials from Chicago Public Schools have partially answered some questions, and CPS CEO Forrest Claypool has informed that he will be visiting the school to field more questions on Nov. 16, many parents remain irate at the CPS response to date. More...

Substance, Not Style, the Source of Rahm's Woes

By Ramsin Canon / 2 Comments

It's not surprising that some of Mayor Emanuel's sympathizers and supporters are confusing people's substantive disputes with the mayor as the effect of poor marketing on his part. It's exactly this insular worldview that has gotten the mayor in hot... More...
