Chicago Works on Your iPhone
Ameya Pawar, one of the candidates for 47th ward alderman, created an iPhone app that lets you report problems, make service requests and send feedback to your alderman. Whether Pawar wins or not (he's up against Schulter-backed Tom O'Donnell and two other candidates) let's hope this app or something like it gets some City Hall backing.

It is a great idea, and shows how smart and creative Ameya Pawar is when it comes to making government run better.
Ameya Pawar would make a great alderman, if only enough people in the 47th ward who care about getting efficient city services go out and vote, and get all their friends and neighbors in 47 to vote too.
