Globally Occupied Attention @ Martyrs
The Chicago Council on Global Affairs presents Globally Occupied Attention (GOAt), a series of discussions about local and global issues that takes place in local bars and venues. 40th Annual Jeff Awards
The 40th Annual Jeff Awards ceremony will be held on Monday, October 20, at the North Shore Center for the Performing Arts in Skokie. The pre-show Appetizer Buffet runs 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and the Awards Ceremony begins at 7:30 p.m. Advance purchase tickets are $75. Writers on the Record: Alaa al Aswany
This month, Writers on the Record welcomes Alaa al Aswany for a talk with Victoria Lautman about his new book Chicago: A Novel.
