Stanley Cup Viewing @ Millennium Park

It may be the last chance for Blackhawks fans to snap a selfie with the Stanley Cup today at Millennium Park. The viewing runs from 9:30am-12:30pm, but the Blackhawks recommend fans get in line before 8am to make sure they get a spot in line.

Radley Balko @ Roosevelt University

Huffington Post reporter Radley Balko will discuss his book Rise of the Warrior Cop: The Militarization of America's Police Forces at Roosevelt University Library's Angel Reading Room (430 S. Michigan) tonight at 6:15 p.m., followed by a panel of community activists who work on issues of policing and social justice. Free.

Public House Gluten-Free Beer Dinner

Public House (400 N. State Street), River North's beer focused eatery, is hosting its first-­‐ever Gluten Free Beer Dinner on Wednesday, September 18 at 6:30pm.The 6‐course pairing menu from Chef David Blonsky & Chef Jeremy Tannehill was created to complement the hand-­‐picked gluten-­‐free beers. Story Lab @ Black Rock Pub

Story Lab stands apart from other live lit series in the city in its accessibility and unmitigated audience support for the performers at the Black Rock Pub, 3614 N. Damen Ave. This month's readers include: Dacey Arishiba, Josh Berling, Alex Blanchette, Susan Gidel, Anita Mechler, and Kathy O'Neill. Hosted by Scott Whitehair of the reading series This Much is True. Show starts at 7:30pm, and is free.
