I was out for a ride after the rainstorm last night when I came across one of the coolest buildings I've seen in a long time: the new headquarters of microphone manufacturer Shure. These daytime pictures (PDF) don't do justice to the site of the building at night: filled with light, completely open, and very lightweight. It's inspring, and certainly not what I expected for otherwise dreary Niles.
