Roaring '20s Party

A "Roaring '20s Party" to benefit the Edgewater Historical Society Museum (5358 N. Ashland) will be held at Speakeasy Supper Club, 1401 W. Devon from 7pm to 10pm.

"Costume Contest, Silent Auction, Raffle Baskets of Treasures, Trivia Contest, Music, Entertainment, Appitizers and Libations Provided."

Love Your Body Day

Chicago's National Organization for Women is sponsoring a poetry slam to celebrate Love Your Body Day. Aside from female poets sharing their poems throughout the night, there will be a performance by that radical cheerleading troupe Lickety Split. You can catch the festivities tonight at The Hearty Boys (3404 N. Halsted) beginning at 8 pm. It's free, but donations are welcome.
