Sandra Cisneros will be reading from the new paperback version of her book Caramelo at Harold Washington Library (400 S. State St.) tonight at 6 pm. Women & Children First is a co-sponsor of this event.

Young Feminist Book Club

This month's selection is Breeder: Real-Life Stories from the New Generation of Mothers edited by Ariel Gore and Bee Lavender. Discussion will begin at the store at 7:30. Books purchased for the book club receive a 10% discount. And to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the book club, there is going to be snacks and champagne.
