The Chicago Photography Center is hosting an open house for the dedication of its new building at 3301 N. Lincoln. Enjoy the live music, free snacks, and pretty pictures from 2-6 pm.

"Explore the city by train! One of Chicago's most famous landmarks is its century-old elevated train system. The Chicago Historical Society offers guided tours on the Brown Line from the Loop to Kimball and back, exploring the rich history that parallels the tracks. The tour begins and ends at the southwest corner of Randolph and Wabash. Advance reservations are required. $10 general admission; $8 CHS members." The next tour is scheduled for Sunday, November 2, 1:00-3:00 P.M.
