The Outer Ear Festival of Sound, "the only comprehensive interdiscplinary sonic arts festival in the Midwest," presents UK artist Aleks Kolkowski with special guest Michael Zerang of Chicago at the Candlestick Maker, 4432 N. Kedzie, at 9pm. Admission is $10.

AIC 50th Anniversary Pow-wow

The American Indian Center is having its 50th anniversary pow-wow begins tonight at 5pm at the UIC Pavilion, 1150 W. Harrison, and runs through Sunday. The event will feature Native American arts and crafts and lots of music and dancing. Tickets are $10 or $18 for a weekend pass. Here's the poster.
