DIY Trunk Show
From 11am to 4:30 pm, more than 50 artisans will be gathering at the Pulaski Park Auditorium (1419 W. Blackhawk--2 blocks NE of the Division Blue line stop) to display their wares. Outer Ear Festival of Sound, "the only comprehensive interdiscplinary sonic arts festival in the Midwest," presents Chicago artists Robb Drinkwater, Jason Soliday and
Jennifer Karmin performing "aaaaaaaaaaalice," a text-sound performance. At the Candlestick Maker, 4432 N. Kedzie, 9pm. Admission is $10.

AIC 50th Anniversary Pow-wow
The
American Indian Center is having its 50th anniversary pow-wow this weekend at the UIC Pavilion, 1150 W. Harrison. The event will feature Native American arts and crafts and
lots of music and dancing. Doors open Saturday and Sunday at 10am. Tickets are $10 or $18 for a weekend pass. Here's
