Classic Radio Theater -- Live!
Members of the Seniors Committee of the
American Federation of Television and Radio Artists and the
Screen Actors Guild perform classic radio scripts as they were originally produced, complete with live sound effects and no re-takes. Many of the performers appeared in radio soap operas and serial adventures back when Chicago was number on in the nation's radio industry.
To be performed are "Ants," a 1949 episode from the Escape! series, and "It Pays to be Ignorant," a comedy featuring 1940s popular radio personalities competing on a quiz show.
