Urge Overkill @ Double Door

Urge Overkill is back! After a seven-year hiatus, Chicago natives Nash Kato and Eddie 'King' Roeser, who formed the band in 1985, have reunited. They are playing two shows at the Double Door this weekend. The February 14th show is sold out, but, as of this writing, tickets still remain for the Feb. 15th. Both shows start at 10pm. Muskrat Love

Looking for something really unique to do for Valentine's Day weekend? How 'bout a hike to look for muskrats in love? The Lake County Forest Preserve District is offering a hike through McDonald Woods Forest Preserve this Sunday from 1:30-3pm, with the intention of seeking out the big, cute rodents.
