Glen Phillips @ Black Orchid

The former front-man for Toad the Wet Sprocket will be appearing tonight at the Black Orchid Supper Club at 230 W. North Ave. in Chicago. After the break-up of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Phillips embarked on a solo career, releasing his first solo album, Abulum, in 2001. RJD2 @ Abbey

RJD2 will be performing at The Abbey Pub tonight to promote the release of his 2nd album. Local hip hop genius, Diverse, will be opening. The doors open at 9, show starts at 10. Tickets are $15.

Green City Market

The weekly Green City Market in Lincoln Park, 1750 N. Clark, opens its 2004 season. It will operate every Wednesday through October.
