"Baby Jane" fundraiser party
Hell in a Handbag Productions is having a party and fundraiser for their current show, "How 'What Ever Happened to Baby Jane' Happened," tonight at T's in Andersonville. The festivities include a raffle and bake sale, on top of the chance to meet some pretty
interesting characters. 10% of the back bar sales go to Hell in a Handbag. 7pm "til late," in the back room at

Partly Dave Show, Dave Awl's monthly spoken-word and performance cabaret, reunites Chicago's legendary "Sultans of Swish," The Pansy Kings, for a Pride-month soiree. At the No Exit Café, 6970 N. Glenwood, 8 pm, $7 or pay what you can.
Third Coast Listening Room with Rick Moody @ Steppenwolf
The
Third Coast Audio Festival Listening Room
brings Rick Moody to the Steppenwolf Theater tonight. Moody,
radio contributor and author of such works as
The Ice Storm, and
Garden State, will talk about the similarities and differences between writing stories and producing audio, and about how the act of listening influences his print work. Excerpts of Moody's audio works will be presented, along with other provocative radio stories. The discussion will be followed by a light reception. Tickets are $8 for Chicago Public Radio members, and $10 general admission. Tickets
