Siva Vaidhyanathan @ Borders
Author, teacher and
blogger Siva Vaidhyanathan signs his new book,
The Anarchist in the Library, at the Barnes & Noble in the Old Orchard shopping mall in Skokie tonight at 7:30 PM. The book takes a look at the effect the Internet is having on social, political and cultural futures. From peer-to-peer sharing to "The Phantom Edit," the author shows a number of ways that fast-moving technology is causing friction between the desire for anarchy and the desire for control. Check it out.
