Bucktown Arts Fest

What started as a small gathering of local artists, the annual Bucktown Arts Fest now presents a large variety of art, including painting, sculpture, photography, music and more. It's a great way to check out what's happening in the Chicago art world without being badgered by that pesky "large-scale commercialism." The fest is located at Senior Citizen's Park, at Oakley and Lyndale, near the Western Blue Line stop. Hours are from 11am-7pm. (At the time of posting the official website wasn't working. Here's hoping it is now.)
