Tonight at the Empty Bottle The Chicago Improvisers Series presents: Engines with Tim Daisy, Nate McBride and Dave Rempis. The Chicago Improvisers Series is pleased to welcome Engines for an extended CIS run. The group is fronted by Boston transplant Nate McBride, an accomplished and versatile bassist that has quickly become a pillar within the local free music community. McBride is accompanied by regarded locals Tim Daisy on drums and David Rempis on reeds. Each performance program will feature two sets of material. (9:30pm; $3)
