The Newberry Library is displaying a collection of recently acquired Mike Royko papers and artifacts. Donated by Royko's widow Judy, the Library hopes the collection will help generate interest in Royko's work and Chicago journalists and journalism. On display through January 14. As part of a presentation (in English) on the new anthology Reisen ins Reich, actress Pamela Pascoe reads from memoirs by Christopher Isherwood, Virginia Woolf, and others who described their experiences traveling in Germany between 1933 and 1945.
