The Stand-Up Squeeze Comedy Showcase presents: "Not Everybody Celebrates Christmas So Come Out of the House for a Change" at Pressure Billiards and Cafe tonight. The Stand-Up Squeeze Comedy Showcase is a comedy showcase where the audience can give their unadulterated opinion on comment cards to direct the future of the show. Write nice things. Write mean things. The line-up for tonight is Dave Odd, Aaron Foster, Azhar Usman, and Rick March. There will also be music by Todd Kessler and free food from Buffalo Joe's of Evanston. Other things free: free parking, free raffle, free gift, and other fabulous prizes. Tickets are just $10, $5 for students. Pressure Billiards and Cafe is located at 6318 N. Fed up with all this Santa crap? Head out to the Metro tonight for Knishmas: A Hipster Alternative to Christmas Eve. The evening will feature music by Beyond Eden (Jewish Groove Fusion), The Moshe Skier Band, and Yuri Lane: Human Beatbox. Tickets are $20 and the show is 18 & over, show starts at 9:30pm.
To benefit the Clearbrook organization, try making a new tradition. The First Annual Wonderland of Lights takes place daily through January 1st at Arlington Park. Drive thru millions of lights and animated holiday scenes illuminating different holiday traditions. The course is open Monday-Thursday, 5-9 pm, when tickets are $10 per car and Friday-Sunday, from 5-10 pm, when tickets are $12 per car. Call (847) 870-7748 for more information.
