Sure, there are plenty of bar options for New Year's, but how many benefit the Chicago Gay Games? Crew Year's Eve at Crew Bar + Grill does. Your cover charge gets you an appetizer buffet from 8-10pm, complimentary drafts, wine and well drinks all night, and a champagne toast at midnight. There's a raffle for cash and prizes including a VIP Super Bowl party, and VJ Matt Nickel plays the best videos of 2005. Oh, and GB staffer Kris Vire is behind the bar. WNEP Theater presents The Armageddon Radio Hour New Year's Eve at the Apollo Theater Studio, 2540 N. Lincoln Ave. The show is a parody of Golden Age radio set just before man's destruction of the planet and features fictionalized radio stars of the '40s. Tonight the Neo-Futurists present a special New Year's Eve performance of "Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind."
