Date My Friend Anti-Cruelty Society Event

The Anti-Cruelty Society is holding a Date My Friend event at Zella, 1983 N. Clyborn. The event starts at 8pm and cost $10, for which complimentary and discounted drinks will be served throughout the evening. Raffles will be held all night long with all proceeds going to the Society. National Tap Dance Day Performances

The Chicago Human Rhythm Project celebrates National Tap Dance Day with four performances at Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble. The performances will include live music by the Jeremy Kahn Trio and a celebration, complete with birthday cake, for Bill "Bojangle" Robinson at each intermission. Tonight's 8pm performance features Tap Chicago, CHRP Founder and Artistic Director Lane Alexander and Soul 2 Soles Dance Company. CPC First Glimpse

The Chicago Photography Center is holding a First Glimpse show. What's that? Well, complimentary wine, Skyy cocktails, Izze sparkling drinks, hor d'oeuvres, live music and the chance to get a sneak preview of CPC Spring 2006 WITHiNSIGHT Gallery Show. Message to Pretty @ Juniortown! Gallery

The Juniortown! Gallery presents Message to Pretty, an exhibition featuring the work of four artists addressing the question "What is pretty?" The artists involved are Erinn Kennedy (paintings), Elisabeth Doherty (amigurumi), Olivia Ortega (paintings), and Julie Smith (amigurumi).
