National Tap Dance Day Performances

The Chicago Human Rhythm Project celebrates National Tap Dance Day with four performances at Vittum Theater, 1012 N. Noble. The performances will include live music by the Jeremy Kahn Trio and a celebration, complete with birthday cake, for Bill "Bojangle" Robinson at each intermission. Today's 3pm performance features Reggio "the Hoofer" McLaughlin, Ernest "Brownie" Brown, Doris Humphries and more. Opening: WITHiNSIGHT Gallery Show

The Chicago Photography Center is holding a free opening of its Spring 2006 WITHiNSIGHT Gallery Show. The show features orginal black and white film and both black and white and color digital photography. The opening goes from 12-4pm and the show will run through July 30. 3301 N.
