Null du Jour: Expressions of Audible Frequency @ Sonotheque

Chicago audioblogger Alicia Frantz died tragically one year ago today. Local musicians will be remembering her work tonight with a performance at Sonotheque, 1444 W. Chicago Ave. According to the press release, "The collection of works utilize in varied ways the myriad of soundscapes Alicia recorded, resulting in a blend of experimental, textural, and emotional landscapes, juxtaposed with stripped-down electronic dance patchwork. The compilation also features some of Alicia's own manipulated work, including an "el" train track voyage originally published as part of the Muted Tones online audio archive." 9pm - 2am, 21+, $5 (includes Null Du Jour CD).
