Theater on the Lake: Daredevils
The Chicago Park District's Theater on the Lake series of plays continues this evening. Each week a new play will be offered at the Theater on the Lake stage at 2401 N. Lake Shore Drive. This week's play is Daredevils by the Neo-Futurist Theatre Company. This play will be performed Wednesday, July 26 through Sunday, July 30. Showtime is 7:30 PM (6:30 PM on Sunday evenings). Tickets are $17.50 and can be purchased by calling the box office at (312) 742-7994. The Theater on the Lake series runs through August 13.

School Wars: Hero @ Japan Information Center
"At a high school that has suffered from violence for years, Shuji Yamagami (Shoei), a former rugby star, is hired on as a physical education teacher. He soon finds that many of the school's troubles lie within the members of the rugby team that he is brought on to coach. Making matters worse is that the faculty has turned a blind eye to the hostility that has taken a greater influence on the students then their teachings.
