The Neo-Futurists wind up their 5th annual It Came From The Neo-Futurarium series of dramatic readings of bad film scripts tonight with the return of the Atlanta theater company Dad's Garage, who came to Chicago a couple of years ago for a memorable recreation of Tron. This time they're taking a crack at the 1986 Jami Gertz-Jason Patric -Lukas Haas scifi cheezefest Solarbabies. The program begins tonight at 8:00 at the Neo-Futurarium (5153 N. Ashland, at Foster). Attendees are also invited to a party after the show, celebrating the 5th anniversary of It Came From The Neo-Futurarium! Tickets are $10, $8 for students w/valid ID, and $2 off for repeat customers. See the Neo-Futurist Website for a complete schedule and to purchase tickets. You may also call the Neo-Futurist hotline to make reservations: (773) 275-5255.
