Theatre on the Lake: Songs of the Second City

The Chicago Park District's Theater on the Lake winds up its summer-long series with one final show this week at the Theater on the Lake stage at 2401 N. Lake Shore Drive. This week's play is Songs of the Second City by the Second City. This play will be performed Wednesday, August 9 through Sunday, August 13. Showtime is 7:30 PM (6:30 PM on Sunday evenings). Tickets are $17.50 and can be purchased by calling the box office at (312) 742-7994.

Remembering Anna @ Cultural Center

This 2005 Swiss film, about a man coping with the death of his daughter from AIDS, is presented by Cinema/Chicago and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Chicago. GreyZelda Theatre Group is gearing up for their latest show, an adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Scarlet Letter. Sagrado y Profano @ Millennium Park
