Hell's Angels '69 @ Delilah's

Delilah's presents a screening of the film Hell's Angels '69, which according to the IMDb reviews is basically Ocean's 11 with bikers instead of Rat Pack actors. Sounds like fun, don't it? Good thing it's a free screening! The movie starts tonight at 6:00 PM. Delilah's: 2771 N. Lincoln. (773) 472-2771.

Tributosaurus becomes Sly & the Family Stone @ Martyrs'

Tonight, if you didn't have the cash or the time to get tickets to see this morphing band on NYE, see them on NYE....E at 10pm. Tickets are $20 (ten dollars cheaper than tomorrow night, so that's a bonus right there). Watch as Tributosaurus becomes Sly & the Family Stone and brings you the funky hits like "Dance to the Music", "Everyday People", "Stand!" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)" / "Everybody Is a Star" (often misquoted). Sure to be a good time, tickets are available online or at the door (but count on it selling out). Martyrs' is located at 3855 N. Lincoln Ave.

Canasta @ Beat Kitchen

Night before the big night, GB favs Canasta will headline at the Beat Kitchen in Roscoe Village on a bill that features some of their favorite performers in Chicago: power-pop act Warm Ones, singer-songwriter Eric Ziegenhagen, and comedian Robert Buscemi, who will serve as the night's emcee. It's an early show that starts 5 pm, so you can get to bed at a reasonable hour to rest up for NYE. Tickets are $8, the show is 18+. The Beat Kitchen is located at 2100 W. Belmont, Chicago.
