Rosa Parks: A Stand for Freedom @ CPL

The Chicago Public Library brings African-American History Month alive for children by retelling the story of Rosa Parks's arrest and the bus boycott that helped bring Martin Luther King Jr. to the limelight. Storytell Lynn Rymarz will be at the helm, helping the audience to learn the true meaning behind the saying, "one person can make a difference." Suitable for children 5-10 years; reservations are required for the 11am program in the 2nd floor Thomas Hughes Children's Library Program Room of the Harold Washington Library.
