Alligateor Records' resident "#1 houserocking band" plays their first of three Chicago-area venues. Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials are currently promoting their new album "Rattleshake," and Bill's Blues in Evanston is their first stop. Bill's Blues is located two blocks from the Davis Purple Line Stop and the Davis Metra stop. Free admission, and the show begins at 8:30pm.
Directed by Jeff Zimbalist and Matt Mochary, Favela Rising documents a man and a movement, a city divided and a favela (Brazilian squatter settlement) united.
