Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials

Alligateor Records' resident "#1 houserocking band" plays their first of three Chicago-area venues. Lil Ed and the Blues Imperials are currently promoting their new album "Rattleshake," and Bill's Blues in Evanston is their first stop. Bill's Blues is located two blocks from the Davis Purple Line Stop and the Davis Metra stop. Free admission, and the show begins at 8:30pm.

Favela Rising @ Four (Free)

Directed by Jeff Zimbalist and Matt Mochary, Favela Rising documents a man and a movement, a city divided and a favela (Brazilian squatter settlement) united. The film premieres in Chicago as part of Scion's Dashboard event at Four, 1551 W Division Street. A conversation will follow the screening. 6 PM to 10 PM, RSVP here.

Tickling Your "Fancy"

Want to kick up your sex life, ladies? Join the folks at female-friendly sex shop Early to Bed for this women-only workshop on the intricacies of women's sexuality. They'll talk about the fascinating female anatomy, the nature of women's orgasms, masturbation tips and techniques, using sex toys and more! This is a great workshop for any woman interested in making her sex life even better. The workshop costs $15 or $10 for students and begins at 7:30 pm. Registration is required.
