Radio-a-Go-Go presents Denver's Hot IQs, along with Unicycle Loves You, STAR and DJ Brian J at The Kinetic Playground, 1113 W. Lawrence. The show is $8 and doors open at 9pm.
The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight there are movies screening at three different parks: Stomp the Yard at Ogden Park (6500 S. Racine); Gridiron Gang at Riis Park (6100 W. Fullerton); and Superman II at Ken-Well Park (2945 N. The Neo-Futurists continues their 6th annual It Came From The Neo-Futurarium series of dramatic readings of bad film scripts tonight with the Barrel of Monkeys theater group reading through the 2000 Jenna Jameson porn flick DreamQuest! Obviously you'll want to leave the kids home for this show. The reading kicks off tonight at 8:00 at the Neo-Futurarium (5153 N. Ashland, at Foster). Tickets are $10, $8 for students w/valid ID.
