This multi-part exhibit by the Taiwan-born artist, called Impermanence, features a sand version of Picasso's Guernica, an assortment of bed-and-nightstand arrangements, and three beautiful enclosures in which you're encouraged to write that letter you've been putting off. Perennial post-rock savant-gardists Tortoise play an hometown show tonight at Metro. They're currently making a brief excursion by way of a short tour of major North American burgs, coming together amidst the all the various side-projects and interim efforts that have kept its members busy in the past year or so.
