Dine Out Chicago, Multiple Locations

Chicago Outdoor Film Festival

The Tony Curtis drama Sweet Smell of Success will be shown tonight as part of the Chicago Outdoor Film Festival at Butler Field in Grant Park (corner of Monroe and Lake Shore Drive). The film starts at 8:13 p.m., weather permitting.

Movies in the Park

The Chicago Park District presents Movies in the Park, a summer-long screening of classic and contemporary films in Chicago parks. Tonight's screenings: Casablanca at No. 511 Park (630 N. Kingsbury St.); and RV (PG) at Hale Park (6258 W. 62nd St.). The screenings start tonight at dusk, and are free and open to the public. Series A @ Hyde Park Art Center

The Hyde Park Art Center dips into reading with Series A, a series featuring experimental writing through readings, discussions and performance. Funny Ha-Ha: With a Vengeance!

Funny Ha-Ha returns to The Hideout, 1354 W. Wabansia, tonight from 7pm to 9pm for an evening of funny readings, monologues and short films by columnist Mark Bazer, author James Finn Garner, humorist and blogger Wendy McClure, comic Kumail Nanjiani, "Check Please"'s Alpana Singh and filmmaker Steve Delahoyde, and hosted by Claire Zulkey. $5 admission benefits the Neighborhood Writing Alliance.

Tuesdays on the Terrace @ MCA

Kick back at the Museum of Contemporary Art after work.
