Today's Labor of Love show benefits two awesome local organizations: Lesbian Community Cancer Project and Test Positive Aware Network. Come hear Actor Slash Model, Ripley Caine, Jennifer "JJ" Jones, and other bands at T's Restaurant & Bar, 5025 N. Clark. Tickets are $15 at the door, the doors open at 1 pm, and the show starts at 3.
The Chicago Jazz Fest is at Grant Park today, and it's totally free. Today's featured act is Ernestine Anderson and Count Basie musician Frank Wess.

The Green City Farmers Market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday until October 31 from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in Lincoln Park (Clark and Stockton).
