Fragile Beauty Quartet @ Cultural Center

Part of the Chicago World Music Festival, this quartet led by Huong Thanh and Nguyen Le performs a fusion of traditional Vietnamese music with multiple genres of world music, including Western jazz, Japanese instruments, and African rhythms. Harvest Festival @ Chicago Botanic Garden

The Botanic Garden is hosting a Harvest Festival that features live music, kids' activities, cooking demonstrations, and--of course--lots of harvest-y stuff for sale, including honey, bread, fruit, and more. Renegade Craft Fair

Eli's Cheesecake Festival @ Eli's Cheesecake World

Eli's Cheesecake Factory is hosting the 11th annual cheesecake festival this weekend. You can sample Chicago's very own Eli's cheesecakes while watching others bury their noses in cheesecakes (to win the cheesecake eating contest), or listen to a multitude of music bands, or wow at 100-plus classic cars, or steal an idea or two from the demonstrating area chefs. It seems Eli's got every entertainment imaginable covered for the fest, including ones for kids as well. Free, 9-5 on Saturday, 11-5 on Sunday at 6701 W. Forest Preserve Dr., Chicago.

Closing: Living Modern @ Smart Museum of Art

This exhibit, which began on 7 June, highlights "German and Austrian Art and Design, 1890-1933" and features paintings, sculptures, works on paper, and household designs from the museum's collection.
