Fiery Furnaces, Pit er Pat @ Logan Square

It wasn't too long ago that Thrill Jockey courted the tender trio of Pit er Pat over to their label for their second release. Although the Fiery Furnaces released five albums on Rough Trade, some Chicago charm (or the fact that the siblings grew up in Oak Park) drew them to the House that Bettina Built. Now both of them are returning home to the Logan Square on All Hallow's Eve (or as we call it, Wednesday). Show starts at 8PM.

"Jukebox of the Dead" @ the Empty Bottle

Get ready for terror! Mucca Pazza, Chicago's only "circus-punk marching band", headlines the 8th Annual "Jukebox of the Dead" Halloween spectacular at the Empty Bottle. Expect an explosive show guaranteed to bring back the dead and frighten little children. The Detholz! (who started the Jukebox eight years ago) and local one-man wrecking crew Lord of the Yum-Yum open, and really must be seen to be believed.
