Happiness Is A Warm Club
There are parties and then there are events like Happiness is a Warm Club that exceed the simple party label. Utilizing both floors of Liar's Club, URB and Smash & Crunch present enough booty-shaking and madness to last all the way into '08. DJs include Johnny Love, Willy Joy, Menowah, Demchuck, the Glamour and more. Drink specials, visuals and nightlife photographers a plenty. 10 p.m. and it's only $5.
Chicago Public Library Adult Book Club
The final meeting of the year for Chicago Public Library's adult book club happens today at the Brighton Park branch (4314 S. Archer). The book club will discuss Marcus Sakey's debut novel The Blade Itself. The discussion starts at 10:00 AM, and newcomers are welcome to attend.
