The Importance of Being Earnest @ Highland Park Public Library

Presented by the Shakespeare Project of Chicago. Victorian England has never been so funny. Oscar Wilde is at his comedic best as Jack (David Skidmore) and Algernon's (Sean Cooper) attempts to add some sizzle to their respective love lives go horribly awry. Founding Member Peter Garino, who staged My Name is Will and Wilde's A Woman of No Importance for the company, directs this memorable romp of wit and repartee. This all-Equity cast also includes Shakespeare Project favorites: Melissa Carlson, Will Clinger, Corliss Preston, Gail Rastorfer, Fredric Stone and Barbara Zahora. Couples Massage Workshop @ Yoga Now-Edgewater

Grab your partner and come learn easy therapeutic techniques you can use to massage away stress in each other's neck, shoulders, back, hands, feet and head. Each routine takes 10 minutes or less and is geared more towards the living room than the bedroom. Winter Tap JAMboree! @ Beverly Arts Center

Chicago Human Rhythm Project (CHRP) opens its 18th season with its annual Winter Tap JAMboree weekend of workshops, classes, the Leo Harris tap scholarship auditions, the Midwest TAP OFF! choreography competition and a performance. Martin "Tre" Dumas is directing the weekend's activities as CHRP Artistic Associate. The performance features 2008 Artist in Residence Guillem Alonso, founder of Barcelona’s Tap Ole and member of Camut Band; CHRP Founder and Artistic Director Lane Alexander and his ensemble BAM!; Tre Dumas' new ensemble JustLisTeN; and the rest of the weekend's instructors: Lisa La Touche (Calgary, Canada), Gregg Russell (Los Angeles) and Jumaane Taylor. Andy Warhol's Silver Clouds @ LUMA

The Loyola University Museum of Art presents Andy Warhol's Silver Clouds, a surreal installation consisting of helium-filled, pillow-like forms made from silver film, floating through 3,000-square feet of gallery space. In addition, five Chicago dance companies (Chicago Moving Company, Hedwig Dances, Molly Shanahan/Mad Shak, The Seldoms and Thodos Dance Chicago) will perform during the course of the exhibition, with a special children's date for a Dance in the Clouds.
