It Came From The Neo-Futurarium: Ninja III: The Domination

The Neo-Futurists present their seventh annual "film fest" of staged readings of the worst films ever! Tonight's film is Ninja III: The Domination, which promises to answer all the questions that the previous two Ninja films left unanswered. It Came From The Neo-Futurarium happens every Thursday night through July 31. Tickets are $10, $2 off for students and repeat customers, and the shows start at 8:00 PM. Sex writer Amy Andre and adult toy store Early to Bed co-present Queer Porn-ucopia, an evening of "the sexiest scenes of queer lust ever caught on film," tonight at 7pm at the Leather Archives & Museum, 6418 N. Greenview Ave. Tickets are available at the door, or in advance at Early To Bed, 5232 N. Sheridan, for a suggested donation of $8 - $10 (no one turned away for lack of funds). 21+

Stan Schutte @ Eli's Cheesecake Factory

Eli's Cheesecake Factory (6701 W. Forest Pk Drive) holds a farmer's market onsite on Thursdays, along with guest speakers for a lecture series on local and sustainable farming. Today's guest is Stan Schutte of Triple S Farm, who will speak from 1-2pm.

It's time again for one of the city's biggest book fairs. With over 100,000 donated books in 60 categories, the Newberry Library Book Fair is sure to offer something for everyone and for a good price, too - most books are priced under $2.
