With songs titles like "Various Kitchen Utensils" Skybox attracts a pretty varied crowd. Their sound ranges from old timey cabaret on through to dreamy electro-pop keeping listeners on their toes, and dancing too. Look for an interview with the band in Transmission. Come out tonight to the "Get Fresh" single release party at The Metro, where Kid Sister worked just two short years ago. The CTA Holiday Train brings joy to Chicago transit riders for the 2008 holiday season. Santa will greet riders on the blue line with candy canes and season's greetings. A Forest Park-bound train departs from the O'Hare stop at 2:30 pm. The O'Hare-bound run leaves Forest Park at 4:12 pm. Click here for a timetable.
