It's A Wonderful Life: The Radio Play @ American Theater Company

The American Theater Company presents their sixth annual production of Frank Capra's It's A Wonderful Life as a radio play. The ATC ensemble present the story as an old-time radio show, complete with commercial breaks and live sound effects. The show opens tonight, and runs through December 28 (no show on Christmas Day). Kevin Coval @ Bucktown-Wicker Park Library

Poet Kevin Coval comes to the Bucktown-Wicker Park Library to read from his new book Everyday People. CTA Holiday Train: Brown & Orange Lines

The CTA Holiday Train will be rocking the Brown and Orange lines. Passengers can start climbing aboard at 3:09pm, when the train heads north from the Midway stop on the Orange line. A southbound run from the Kimball terminal on the Brown line gets going at 4:52pm. Click here for a timetable. Free bicycle headlight giveaway @ Chicago & Wells

Courtesy of the Law Offices of James M. Freeman, the Active Transportation Alliance (formerly known as the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation) will properly equip nearly 200 bicyclists with free front headlights in an effort to raise awareness around safe and legal bicycling tonight. Head to the corner of Chicago Avenue and Wells Street tonight between 5:30pm and 7pm and you'll have a change to snag a free lamp to keep you safe!
