The Gene Siskel Film Center presents a weeklong run of Monks - The Transatlantic Feedback, a documentary about the proto-punk band The Monks. Bombay Beatbox brings together two of their rotating guest DJs, New York based Karsh Kale, known for melding the music of his heritage with the modern electronic club music of his American upbringing and San Francisco based Janaka Selekta to perform together for the first time in Chicago.
