Starting today, the Humane Society's Coats for Cubs program teams up with second-hand clothing store Buffalo Exchange to collect donations of fur coats and other animal apparel, in any condition. The garments are sent to wildlife rehabilitators, who use them to warm, cuddle, and comfort orphaned, sick, or injured wild animals. This event goes from now until Earth Day (April 22), at various Buffalo Exchange locations. Times:

After 15 years at 1229 W. Belmont Ave., Bailiwick Arts Center closes its doors. This benefit features performances of musical numbers from nine past productions including "Pope Joan," "Jerry Springer--The Opera," "Kiss of the Spider Woman" and "The Christmas Schooner."
